Kelly is the perfect model to show you my newest session package…Me_Me_Me.com. This one is all about YOU! We do all the work and you get all the attention.
When I arrived at our new location in the High Desert of California my mind started reeling with ideas. I am all about thinking outside the box. I wanted to use the beautiful scenery as a backdrop for these images. I had a make-up artist, hair stylist, and an intern at the ready. There were 2 locations and 4 different looks to conquer in one day which may not seem like much except that one of the locations was in the mountains with several different areas.
The morning of the shoot I woke up to 20+ mile per hour winds with seriously strong gusts. Since everyone was ready we went ahead with the indoor portion of the shoot and added a third location within her home. I was excited and ready for this new photographic adventure.
Boudoir is defined by Merriam-Webster as a woman’s dressing room, bedroom, or private sitting room. This is where we ended up when the outdoor portion had to be rescheduled. Boudoir sessions have become extremely popular in the last year and I have noticed and increased interest in the military community. What a perfect gift for your spouse whether deployed or not.
The inner diva is finding her way out.
Relaxing
I understand that not everyone is comfortable with this setting which is why you don’t see boudoir in the name or description of the package. I want it to be about bringing out your inner diva and making you feel good inside and out.
Once we were done with the boudoir it was time to get Kelly ready for the pre-scheduled man-cave shoot. Mariel changed up Kelly’s hair and make-up to a grungy style look that I envisioned. This portion is one that I was looking forward to since it is her husband’s favorite place when he isn’t working. His workshop is his pride and joy and we took full advantage of the space.
We saw a different side of Kelly in this setting.
